Henning Heavy guitars, glitched electronic samples, melodic vocals... This is classic Blue Stahli, and a perfect way to kick off the wait for the highly-anticipated 3rd album 'Obsidian'. No one can stop this hellbound hype-train!

Kevin Pollock This has quickly become my favorite song from Bret all together. If this is what we can expect from "Obsidian", late 2019 can't come soon enough!

Kris Aroo I hate to be the latest addition of commenters who say this sounds like something out Mick's "Doom" soundtrack. At least from the get-go, it still sounds like something that Bret has been doing since his kickass debut album. Still fresh, still original. 10/10 would headbang again

about

Blue Stahli returns for his 3rd full-length vocal album, Obsidian, with the debut single "Lakes of Flame." Harnessing the futuristic, high energy electronic-rock sensibilities that Blue Stahli popularized with tracks like "ULTRAnumb" and "Anti-You" from the 2011 self-titled debut album and tracks "Not Over Til We Say So" and "Enemy" from the 2015 sophomore album, The Devil, Blue Stahli delivers his next evolution of sound with "Lakes of Flame." Fusing aggressive chainsaw guitar riffs, glitchy cinematic production, and industrial-powered blast beats, "Lakes of Flame" continues the expansion of the Blue Stahli universe with dark yet accessible lyrics & melodies.

Obsidian is slated for a Fall 2019 release.

Track Name: Lakes of Flame
A crumbling altar
How dim the glow
Buried it far below

Stumble and falter
Within the bone
This heaven is overthrown

In every direction
We're torn apart
so ineffectual

Send the fire down
The sun consumes the ground
Wash it all away
In lakes of flame

Eternal horizon
Salt the earth
Sever the nearest nerve

A fading reflection
To pierce the heart
Of what's amendable

Send the fire down
The sun consumes the ground
Wash it all away
In lakes of flame

Send the fire down
The sun consumes the ground
Wash it all away
In lakes of

Send the fire down
The sun consumes the ground
Wash it all away
In lakes of flame
